Ungovernable As A Strategy To Burn It Down?

Is the nation becoming intentionally ungovernable as a strategy to burn down the whole DC infrastructure?

From a Steve Bannon interview with The Daily Beast on August 22 of last year:

““I’m a Leninist,” Bannon proudly proclaimed. Shocked, I asked him what he meant. “Lenin,” he answered, “wanted to destroy the state, and that’s my goal too. I want to bring everything crashing down, and destroy all of today’s establishment.” Bannon was employing Lenin’s strategy for Tea Party populist goals. He included in that group the Republican and Democratic Parties, as well as the traditional conservative press.”

This raises a legitimate question – if the current system is so corrupt and unjust is destroying the system from within the only viable solution to that corruption and injustice? Is it remotely moral? What would come next?

Endless questions.
I do not know Steve Bannon. I do not know if this is what Bannon actually believes, if he was going for shock value or if he was simply trolling the journalist. However in light of the incredible disfunction that DC – and the Trump administration – has become it is legitimate for one to ponder. It is also legitimate to ponder if it is so, what comes of this in the near future and what does the long term future look like?
Burning it down from the inside would be a definite remedy for the current corruption and injustice. If that solution would produce any less corruption and injustice is a very valid question. It certainly did not in the case of Lenin. Easy to see how hiring and firing a fellow like Anthony Scaramucci would certainly further the cause of burning it down. Is the disfunction deliberate?
However you slice it – this country has crossed the rubicon. However instead of marching on Rome we seem to be marching on the Twilight Zone. Barack Obama proclaimed that he would fundamentally transform America – he had no clue how successful he would be at that did he?
